What do you think about hybird 3 and 4 iron golf clubs?

I recently purchase a new set of clubs and they came with the new hybird 3 and 4 iron golf clubs. These clubs are ruining my game. The don't play as well as regular irons and now when I would normaly use a 3 or 4 iron shot....I have to go to a 5 iron which makes every course play longer for me now.

How tall should you be to use men’s golf clubs?

I'm 5'4", male and have been using women's sized golf clubs for a while. I want to get mens clubs but don't know if they will be too big and affect my game. I know a lot of kids my age and size that use full men's size clubs. The ladies flex is too flexible and i tend to hit a fade.... Also, any suggestions for relatively cheap iron sets? ($200-$300)
