Where can I buy relatively cheap golf clubs or golf club set?

mmcnees21 asked:

I need golf clubs, and I'm under a budget. I do not need a complete set of clubs, just enough for a beginner. Is there anywhere that I can find them without having to order them online?

The absolute best place to find used sets of clubs is Play It Again Sports. Find one near you by clicking the link below…
If there isn’t one near you I suggest trying craigslist.org (make sure you click on your city when you get there, it defaults to San Fransico)

    good luck!

Well, I just purchased my second set off ebay…but if you dont want to fool with online stuff then I recommend you go to Target and do some shopping. I bought my first set there and they have been great hitting clubs.

Well try looking at your local thrift store, ask any of your friends who play golf and ask do they have an extra set that they would sell you. Try a sporting store/ second hand golf store, Target, or Wal Mart. The next thing I would suggest you to do is to your local golf course and ask the pro shop if you can put up ad that you’re looking set or some golf clubs. Also ask if they have a bunch of lost and found club they could sell you or give to you. Good Luck!

ebay is not a bad way to go but you need to check the sellers ratings carefully.

if you are serious, never buy clubs at the flea market/goodwill or even target..go to you local driving range/golf shop where they can give you help/advise on what to get…they always have used clubs and may even buy them back if you want to upgrade in the future…
