what kind of golf clubs should i get?

kate asked:

I am on my high school golf team, and I have been for the past three years. I am ready to buy some new clubs. I want graphite clubs, I prefer them over the metal shaft. I am a girl however I am taller and I would prefer mens clubs, that is what I play with now. What are some good clubs that I should look at? I don't even know where to start looking. I want clubs that are durable and will last for a long time. I would prefer to not pay a lot of money, preferably under $700.
thanks!

I prefer nike victory red irons and wedges and the sq dymo woods and driver and a scotty cameron putter but all that is a LOT of money but go to dicks sporting goods and try diffrent clubs and get the ones that feel good to you
but I’m only 10 what do I know
    Good Luck

A female who is taller than average and prefers mens clubs to womens should definitely get professionally fitted. It is free at most places when buying clubs and will tell you exactly what length, loft, lie, shaft frequency, and grip size that you need. I guarantee you, it will improve your game.

They will also be able to tell you which clubs will work best for your swing as far as brand/model.

Woo Get the same ones as me!!! Sasquatch sumo diver, Sumo 3 wood, Sumo Irons, and Sasquatch golf bag!! i got all that off of ebay for only 500 dollars!!! and it was all new. SASQUATCH RULES!!!!! But they are just a bit shorted then other mens irons. but i am about 6 foot and can just nail them straight and high! these irons are very easy to hit and make the ball fly!

theres no answer to this question. its all peronal preference. all we can make are suggestions. id suggest checking out the taylormade r7s, taylormade tour burners, callaway x-22s, nike victory red, ping g10s, maybe mizunos if you think you handle blades. just go to your local store and hit a few balls with each and see which you like best. i definately think you should get fitted to whicever clubs you choose.

    good luck!
