He really wants to golf. So where can I buy decent golf clubs that's affordable as a Christmas gift?

    at this time of year. golf shops have great clearance prices on 2008 sets. please shop in person. salesperson will reduce price. also ask for couple dozen golf balls. tremendous savings. warranty. exchange policy. plus after xmas b/f can return to have custom fit. avoid online. no offence. salesperson will assist. price will be cheaper. good luck.

    Go to Walmart or Target, there you will find affordable sets of clubs. Sounds like you bg is a beginner so don’t go buying the best out there just yet.

    I agree with rock bottom. I have bought clubs and equipment from there for ages, and they never let me down with their quality and great pricing.

    other things you need

    other then those, you dont need anything else except for a bag, and im sure he can find a good cheap one. Those are great clubs for great price. I tmight be a little higher then your budget, but it easily the best set you can find at that price
